Tomorrow, Saturday, January 3, 2015 – Columbia Memorial Space Center will host “Young Explorers Academy — The Star of Our Solar System”  from 11:00AM – 12:30PM

It has been discovered that all planets in our solar system revolve around the Sun, and that it provides solar energy for us on Earth.  But, did you know that the Sun is also a star, just like the many stars we see in the night sky?

Young Explorers Academy is for children ages 3 -6 and is set for the the first Saturday of every month. Children will EXPLORE, EXPERIMENT, and CREATE during hands-on and participant-lead activities based on various early childhood topics.

Class fee of $12 is per guardian and child pair (includes all day admission to the CMSC) or $7 for CMSC members. Guardian participation is required. Pre- registration is suggested as seats and supplies are limited.
