This Saturday, the theme for this July’s “Young Explorers Academy” at Columbia Memorial Space Center is “Seed Growth”. The Young Explorer’s Academy is designed especially for children ages 3-5.

Children will EXPLORE, EXPERIMENT, and CREATE during hands-on and participant-lead activities based on various early childhood topics.

July is a time for summer picnics and celebrating the summer. Watermelons, strawberries, and cantaloupes are popular summer fruits, but how do we get them to our picnic tables from a small seedling? Come join Young Explorers Seed Growth workshop at the CMSC as they answer the questions of seed growth together.
