Great Park Spooktacular


It’s time to register for The Great Park’s Spooktacular Fun Days!  Get your costume’s ready and enjoy fall activities for the kids of all ages. This FREE event not only provides your family a day of fun but also helps support our Orange County Food Banks.

Donate to scare away hunger by simply bringing a bag of canned goods or non-perishable food and each child 12 and younger will gain access to the Pumpkin Patch or Trick or Treat Town (while supplies last).


Enjoy traditional family-friendly fall activities including: kids crafts, petting zoo, carnival games, Harvest Walk, entertainment, gourmet food trucks and much more.

In order to take part in this spooktacular day of fun you must sign up. Registration is required for each child (12 & under); space is limited. Free admission and parking.

Activities are for children 12 & under, therefore accompanying adult ticket registration is not required.  Event date options include:

  • Saturday, October 15, 2016 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 16, 2016 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 22, 2016 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 23, 2016 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Registration for Spooktacular Fun Days begins September 14, 2016 at noon.

The Great Park is located at Marine Way and Sand Canyon Irvine, CA 92618

Please note: Special event entrance for the Orange County Great Park is located off I-5 or I-405 at Sand Canyon on Trabuco Road/Great Park Boulevard in Irvine.

Movies on the Lawn

Mark your calenders for this summer’s Movies on the lawn at the Great Park. Watch classic or family movies on the big screen.

Bring low-back chairs, blankets and a picnic, or try some of the yummy eats from one of the food trucks or snack bar. Movies are weather permitting and actual start time may vary pending sunset, approximately 8:15 pm but get there early to grab a good spot!

Fall Food Drive

Food donations will be accepted Thursday – Sunday through November 20, 2105.

  • Thursday & Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Seasoned Chef’s Culinary Workshop

The Great Park and Chef Sharon Murphy of One Fine Fig, will present cool and savory soup and salad summer classics at next Seasoned Chef Culinary Workshop:

  • Clear Virgin Marys

  • White Grape Gazpacho

  • Grilled Panzanella Salad

The Seasoned Chef series brings some of the best chefs in Orange County to present local seasonal gourmet dishes, techniques and preservation methods. Eating seasonal and local foods is nutritionally rich and environmentally friendly.
