The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers as well as rays in the Aquarium’s Shark Lagoon.

This event gives engineering enthusiasts can watch various homemade trebuchets launch pumpkins through the air during the competition.
For a more hands-on lesson on projectiles, youngsters are invited to build their own mini catapults with Popsicle sticks and launch marshmallows. Other activities include pop-rocket building and a whiffle ball catapult station. Plus, a medieval showcase will present costumes, weapons, weaving materials and other replicated artifacts from the medieval ages.
The 59th annual Tustin Tiller Days Festival starts tomorrow!!! Tustin Tiller Days has been an annual event in Tustin since 1957.
The three day festival celebrates Orange County’s agricultural heritage while providing an opportunity for local non-profit organizations to promote their cause and raise much needed funds. Over the years, local civic organizations, schools, churches, and youth groups have raised thousands of dollars to benefit a wide variety of local needs.
When: Friday October 2nd from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday October 3rd from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and Sunday October 4th from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Cost: Admission to the Festival is FREE. There are fees for carnival rides, games, food. Tickets can be purchased at the event. Parking along streets where allowed is free there is alos event parking for $7.00.
The Tustin Tiller Days parade takes place on Saturday, October 3rd.Parade at 10:00 am. The parade starts at the corner of Main and Pacific and ends at Prospect and Beneta at festival grounds.
Wake up early on Saturday and attend the Pancake Breakfast before the parade. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am – 9:30 am. The breakfast will be held at the Tustin Library Courtyard, the cost is $5 per person.
Orange International Street Fair (OISF) is coming up!!! The event is held in Old Town Orange was founded in 1973 and Incorporated in 1985, Orange International Street Fair features booths of international food, crafts, entertainment and more. The event schedule is as follows:

Are you ready for Irvine Park Railroad’s Easter Eggstravaganza? The Easter Bunny is hoping into Irvine Park Railroad from Saturday, March 14th through Saturday, April 4th.
You can ride the train through beautiful Irvine Regional Park and children ages 2 through 12 can go on an Easter egg hunt. Each egg is filled with candy or a prize.
Easter egg hunts begin daily at 10:00 AM and tickets may be purchased and exchanged for a wristband to participate in an egg hunt at a specific time. Please bring your Easter baskets but no need to worry if you forget – Irvine Park Railroad will have Easter baskets for sale. Tickets must be purchased on the day of the event in order to receive a wristband for the Easter egg hunt.
Children can meet the Easter Bunny and have their pictures taken for $10.00 (this includes a complimentary photo that will be taken by Irvine Park Railroad staff) If you’d like additional prints of the same photo, you can buy them for $6.00. Photos will be printed in a few short minutes at the Easter Bunny booth.

Come to Irvine Park Railroad on Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22, 2015 to celebrate their 19th anniversary. This anniversary celebration comes with gifts for us!
That’s right, Irvine Park Railroad is rolling back their prices to the original 1996 prices! This means FREE giveaways and $2.00 train rides! The train ride takes passengers on a 12-minute ride through scenic Irvine Regional Park. The engineer narrates the ride pointing out all of the history inside of the 114 year-old park.
I love visiting Irvine Park Railroad, it’s just a few minutes away from home for us but I always feel like were no near the city when were here and my girls love riding the train.
The anniversary celebration will also feature other $2.00 activities and concessions including carnival games, hot dogs, sodas, ice creams, popcorn, bounce house tickets and cotton candy. Face painting and panning for gold require two $2.00 tickets.
