The 40th Annual Fall Faire & Pumpkin Patch will take place October 19, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at one of my favorite places: Environmental Nature Center at 1601 E. 16th Street, Newport Beach, CA 92663
What is the Fall Faire & Pumpkin Patch? Pumpkins, food, native plant sales, children’s games, crafts & face painting, live entertainment, story time, petting zoo & animal demonstrations.
Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be available for sale. Proceeds benefit the environmental education programs.
If your looking for native plants, they’ll have a selection of native plants for sale to attract more butterflies or birds to your yard, save water, reduce pesticide use, or showcase color throughout the year.
For the children there will be a variety of fun crafts*, face painting, henna tattoos, a petting zoo and the Orange County Bird of Prey Center will be on hand with their live hawks and owls. OC Reptile Rescue will bring a variety of scaly things, and Wolf Totem Ambassadors will have their wolves on site for you to meet.
*Purchase a re-usable ENC canvas bag for $5 – your “ticket” to make awesome crafts like Star Lanterns, Pine Cone Critters, Beautiful Branches, Gratitude Cards, Pasta Necklaces, and Calendar Kites!
It’s sure to be great day, hope to see you there!
