OC Parks and The John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center are hosting the 2nd annual Science in the Park, a fun and educational day for the whole family.
There a fun demonstrations like the volcano demo pictured above, plenty of hands on experiements and informations abvailble. You’ll learn about Orange County natural history, our native animals and plants and local Native American culture and the world of science. All of the activities and lectures are lead by leading experts in their fields.
The event features paleontology, archaeology, Orange County history. geology, biology, native plants and animals and junior scientist camp.
The Junior Scientist Camp will feature plenty of hand-on activities and educational crafts. The OC Zoo will also have various zookeeper chats throughout the day.

Cost: FREE, parking is $5.00 per vehicle, Optional OC Zoo is $2.00 per person (ages 2 and under are free)
