
Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of Carbon Canyon Regional Park and the planting of the Redwood Grove.
This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone: crafts for kids, a balloon artist and a face painter. Inside the Outdoors will also be giving a live animal presentation. Ranger-led hikes to the Redwood Grove will be offered at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Participate in the hike and get a prize! Participants include: California State Parks, California Department of Fish & Wildlife, Olinda Museum, Hills for Everyone and Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Parks. A historian will also be on site to give a brief history of Carbon Canyon.
