OCGreat Park_garden4KidsThis Sunday is the Great Park’s FREE Children’s Garden Workshop Series. The monthly workshop is designed to highlight the connection between nature and the core education disciplines of science, technology, engineering, arts, music, and math.

A garden is a perfect backdrop for exploring the ways in which the natural world impacts every aspect of our daily lives.  This new set of fun and engaging STEAMM inspired topics are sure to delight and inspire young and old alike, so please join us.

  • Where: OC Great Park Farm + Food Lab | Map & Directions 
  • When: Sunday, January 18, 2015
  • Time: Workshops are offered every half hour from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
  • Cost: Free 

 The workshop is 20 minutes of a sit down interactive presentation followed by a craft and planting activity, all ages welcome.

This program is produced  and presented by the City of Irvine’s Community Services Urban Agricultural Programs Division, and is supported by volunteers from the University of California’s Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program and Irvine Youth Action Team.
